My son's pediatrician actually mentioned looking into gut stuff before considering adderall. I found this and showed her the ingredients and she said try it. 4 weeks in and we never had to start the medication. She was honestly shocked

Stephanie M.

His teacher texted me last week saying he seems more present in class and his focus has been noticeably better. i ugly cried in the parking lot reading that. best text i've gotten from a teacher in years ngl. we're only on week 3

Karen L.

I've been begging his pediatrician to try anything before stimulants. She kept pushing the prescription. I finally said no and started him on this instead. Month 2 and his teacher hasn't called once. That has literally never happened in 4 years of school!!

Michelle T.

That rebound when the methylphenidate wears off was brutal. like clockwork every day at 4pm. it's still there a little but nothing like before. genuinely didn't think a supplement would do anything but here we are. on bottle 2 now

Patti W.

We've spent thousands on doctors therapy meds and still felt like we were losing. saw this and thought ok what do we have to lose at this point. 3 weeks in and i'm not exaggerating when i say something has shifted. if your kid is on adhd meds and still struggling just try it.

Sarah H.

Honestly thought the dark circles were from the vyvanse. he's had them since we started meds two years ago. been using this for a month and they're actually fading. Didn't change anything else so i'm pretty sure this is it.

What's inside and why it works

Almost everything sold for ADHD works on the brain. That's the part nobody questions — and it's the reason so little of it works.

About 90% of the body's serotonin isn't made in the brain at all. It's made in the gut. Serotonin is what runs focus, mood, sleep and impulse control — so a brain that isn't getting enough is being treated in the wrong place.

Then there's the second problem, and it's the one that explains why the same supplement helps one child and does nothing for another. Even when a product does supply the right nutrients, a gut that's out of balance can't absorb them. Same bottle, same dose, two different outcomes — because the two children have two different guts.

What the research shows. When scientists measured the blood of children with ADHD, they found 48% more kynurenine — the marker that appears when tryptophan is being burned down a side road. Tryptophan is the raw material serotonin is built from: it comes in through food, and the gut is supposed to convert it. In these children it was being spent on something else instead. The material was there. It just never arrived (Morris, 2025). A separate study found that the more disrupted a child's gut bacteria were, the more pronounced their hyperactivity (U.S. National Library of Medicine, 2021).

So the gut has to come first — and in the right order. Nutriveen™ is 11 plant extracts working in three phases:

1 CLEAR — make room

Wormwood, Black Walnut Hull, Clove and Pau d'Arco address the overgrowth. Oregano and Thyme break down the film that shields it — think plaque on teeth, but inside the gut. That film is also what blocks absorption.

2 REPAIR — seal the wall

Licorice Root and Aloe Vera rebuild the lining that years of inflammation left thin. Fennel and Anise settle the stomach aches and bloating your child probably never mentions.

3 FEED — deliver what was missing

Pumpkin Seed is the only plant carrying zinc, magnesium and tryptophan together — the three nutrients ADHD children are most consistently short of. These are the raw materials the brain uses to make serotonin and dopamine.

Why the order matters. Most ADHD supplements are Phase 3 only — zinc and magnesium poured into a gut that can't take them in. That's the absorption problem above, sold as a bottle. Clear and repair first, and the same nutrients finally land.

Why liquid, and how it tastes. A damaged gut struggles to break down capsules — the contents pass straight through. Liquid skips that. It's raspberry with a bitter blocker, so most kids think it's juice. If yours is genuinely difficult, one dropper disappears completely into a smoothie or apple juice.

It also sits fine alongside the usual children's vitamins and probiotics.

⚠ Contains tree nuts (black walnut).
When will I start seeing results?

Most parents notice something in the first week, and it's almost always mornings. Fewer fights to get out of bed. Less pushback at breakfast. A child who answers the first time you call them.

The real shift lands around weeks 2–4, and it usually shows up in other people before it shows up in your own head. Parents describe the same three things, in the same order: he isn't fighting or arguing as much. He seems happier. He's listening better.

Then comes the part most don't expect — the grandparents notice too. They ask him to do something and he goes and does it, where before it would have been a full tantrum or a meltdown. That's the tell. When the people who don't live in your house start saying it without being asked, it isn't hope doing the talking.

The rest follows quietly. Meltdowns get shorter and less frequent. Sleep goes deeper. The constant sugar hunting quiets down, and food he used to refuse starts getting eaten. Dark circles begin to fade. The school's number stops making your stomach drop.

By month 2–3 most parents describe it the same way: they have their kid back. Not managing them. Not bracing for the next phone call. Just present.

The first fortnight can be a little bumpy — slightly looser stools, a short-tempered day, the odd headache. It settles by week two, and it means things are moving.

Some children respond in five days, some take three weeks. Every gut is starting from a different place.

He's on medication. Can he take both?

Yes. Nutriveen is plant-based and contains nothing that interacts with stimulants. Plenty of parents start exactly this way.

They aren't doing the same job, and the difference is worth understanding.

The medication works on the brain, with whatever the brain already has. It pushes the existing chemistry harder so your child can hold focus through the school day. It works — and then it wears off, every single day, because nothing was ever added to the supply. It was borrowed against.

Nutriveen works a level below that. Around 90% of serotonin is made in the gut, so instead of pushing a running-low system harder, it goes to the place where the supply is actually produced and gets it working again. Your child's own body makes it, and sends it up on its own.

That's usually what parents notice first: the wear-off crash softens. Not because the medication changed, but because underneath it the brain finally has something of its own to run on.

Most families arrive here at the same moment: not against the medication, just past it. The dose that worked stopped working. The rebound at 4pm got harder to watch. Something had to change.

In our 412-child observational study, 83% of parents canceled or postponed their child's stimulant appointment within 8 weeks of starting Nutriveen.

If you eventually want to reduce the prescription, that conversation belongs with your pediatrician — a stimulant should never be stopped abruptly. Nutriveen doesn't require you to choose. It works either way.

Is my child the right age for this?

Ages 3 and up. One dropper a day, and it stays one dropper whether your child is 4 or 15 — the childhood dose doesn't go up with age. Only adults take more.

  • 3–6 — into juice, water or a smoothie, first thing in the morning. The raspberry was built for this age.
  • 7–12 — our most common range. Most take it straight from the dropper or in a sip of juice.
  • 13–17 — teenagers usually want to know why first. Told plainly — gut affects focus and mood — most take ownership of it themselves.
  • Under 3 — not yet. Some of these botanicals aren't suited to toddlers.
  • Adults — yes. Two droppers a day, same bottle. A lot of parents end up taking it too.

No diagnosis needed. Nutriveen was built around the ADHD brain, but it works at the gut. Any child with unexplained stomach aches, broken sleep, picky eating or mood swings is working with the same machinery.

What if it doesn't work for us?

You get a full refund. Thirty days, no questions, no forms — one email to support@nutriveen.com and it's done. Empty bottle is fine.

We know what this looks like from your side. You don't want to spend on one more thing that ends up sitting on the counter because it didn't do anything. That's the real fear — not being tricked, but wasting another month.

Most parents who find us have already spent money on things that promised a lot and changed nothing. The diets, the vitamins, the gummies everyone swore by. You have no reason to take our word for it yet.

So don't. Give it 30 days and judge it on your own child, not on us. If the mornings don't get easier. If he isn't listening any more than he was. If the meltdowns come just as hard and just as often. If he's still refusing everything on the plate that isn't beige.

Then it didn't work, and you get your money back. You've lost nothing but a month you were going to spend anyway.

The Problem

There Are Two Reasons Nothing Has Worked

Everything you've given him targets the same place.

The stimulant. The saffron. The magnesium. The omega-3. The melatonin. Each one of them goes after the brain and its missing serotonin.

But 90% of that serotonin is made in the gut.

Not in the head. In the gut. And serotonin is what runs focus, mood, sleep and impulse control. The organ that makes it has never been the one being treated.

Wrong organ is only half of it. Even what does reach the gut cannot get in.

A gut out of balance doesn't let anything in

His body makes serotonin out of zinc, magnesium and tryptophan, and it has to absorb them first. What stops that is called gut dysbiosis: the balance inside his gut has tipped, and the wall no longer lets them through.

Clear the wall and the same nutrients land

Nothing about the nutrients changed. Once the wall is repaired, the same zinc, magnesium and tryptophan finally get through, and his brain finally gets what it needs to make serotonin.

This is why the same supplement helps one child and does nothing for another.
Same bottle. Same dose. Two different guts.

The Solution

Nutriveen Works On The Gut. The Brain Comes After.

1 Clear

Make room

Six botanicals address the overgrowth and break down the film that shields it. That film is also what blocks absorption.

2 Repair

Seal the wall

Licorice Root and Aloe Vera rebuild the lining that years of inflammation left thin, so the leaking stops.

3 Feed

Deliver what was missing

Pumpkin Seed carries zinc, magnesium and tryptophan together. Now there is a gut that can actually take them in.

Most ADHD supplements are step 3 only.

Zinc and magnesium poured into a gut that can't take them in. It was never the dose. It was the delivery.

Nutriveen was built for one thing: the gut dysbiosis underneath. All three steps, in order, in one dropper a day.
